TEM Grids with Continuous Film (Pure Carbon)
With continuous pure carbon film, the associated formvar film is removed for speical applications like sample preparation in organic solvents or at high temperature
Description
🔹 Description
These TEM grids feature a continuous layer of pure carbon film deposited on the grid surface, forming a uniform and fully supported substrate for specimen mounting.
Unlike holey or lacey films, continuous carbon films provide complete support across the entire grid area, making them ideal for fragile samples and routine TEM analysis.
Typical carbon film thickness ranges from ~15 to 30 nm, offering a balance between mechanical stability and electron transparency.
